An abra is more famous in the Middle East as the engine-driven wooden water taxi or boat, a very common sight in the Dubai Creek. Aside from a Dubai dhow cruise, tourists can also experience a traditional nautical journey in these little passenger boats. Tourists do not really require a Dubai dhow tour booking for a trip in the abra as the boats are actually public transport. Just like a private dhow cruise package in Dubai, abras can be booked for an hour or so for a private tour of the creek.
